Job Fair for Skilled Craft Workers Set for May 27

HOUMA A job fair will be held Friday, May 27, in Houma to recruit skilled craft workers for Bollinger Marine Fabricators (BMF), a new construction division of Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. located in Amelia.

The fair, which is sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will be held from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Terrebonne Business & Career Solutions Center, 807 Barrow St. in Houma.

BMF is expanding its total workforce by approximately 200 skilled craft workers over the next six months and has an immediate need for ship fitters, pipe fitters, outfitters, structural welders and pipe welders.
