Job Fair for Skilled Craft Workers Set for June 18

MORGAN CITY A job fair will be held Saturday, June 18, in Morgan City to recruit skilled craft workers for Bollinger Marine Fabricators (BMF), a new construction division of Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. located in Amelia.

The fair, which is sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will be held from 8 a.m. - noon at the East St. Mary Business and Career Solutions Center, 7710 Hwy. 182 East, Morgan City.

BMF is expanding its total workforce by approximately 200 skilled craft workers over the next six months and has an immediate need for ship fitters, pipe fitters, outfitters, structural welders and pipe welders.
