BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC)’s Region IV Business & Career Solutions Center will participate in the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) Job Fair on Tuesday, May 9 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Cajundome Convention Center. We encourage job seekers in the Acadiana region to attend, as more than 80 local, state and national employers are expected to participate.
Industries that will be represented include, but are not limited to: healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, law enforcement, sales/marketing, banking, retail, customer service, management, transportation and information technology. In addition to meeting with employers, participants will have access to a resume review station, and can take part in three seminars on the following topics:
• Preparing for Different Types of Interviews (10 a.m.)
• How to Write a Competitive Resume That Yields Results (11 a.m.)
• How to Increase Odds of a Post Job Fair Interview (1 p.m.)
