Dongsung FineTec job fair in Lake Charles postponed

LAKE CHARLES – Due to project delays, the Dongsung FineTec International job fair originally scheduled for Wed., Sept. 19, will be postponed until further notice.

Dongsung FineTec, with the support of the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) and Louisiana Economic Development (LED) Faststart, initially planned to hold the event at the American Job Center (AJC) in Lake Charles. The company had planned to create 30 new direct jobs with an average annual salary of $40,000, plus benefits.

Located at 2424 3rd Street, the Lake Charles AJC is part of a network of more than 60 AJCs across the state. Staff members at these AJCs regularly assist Louisiana’s employers with recruitment, incorporating not only job fairs, but also customized, strategic recruitment methods geared toward matching qualified candidates with employers of all sizes.
