Cost Containment Program (CCP)

The Cost Containment Program (CCP) reduces workers' compensation premiums for Louisiana businesses. This free program offers an initial 2% reduction to qualified businesses, and an additional 5% reduction upon completion of the required CCP.

To receive the 2% reduction, the business needs to:

• Have an  EMOD (PDF) rate of 1.5 or higher for the prior year, and
• Participate in an onsite, free consultation with LWC's Workplace Safety Section.
  

To receive the additional 5% reduction, the employer needs to:

• Contact the Workplace Safety section for a free, onsite, comprehensive safety and health survey, and
• Implement components of an effective workplace safety health program.
  

The Workplace Safety Section will monitor the progress of participating employers for six months.  Upon completion of all components of the program, the employer will be issued a certificate of completion of the CCP.
